Mercedes Channel Young (Born July 16, 1991; Miami, FL.) is an American actress, model, author, and motivational speaker best known for her role in 2-Headed Shark Attack starring alongside Carmen Electra and Brooke Hogan & as a cast member on Bravo's "To Rome for Love".
She is a devout Christian who credits all of her achievements to God. Mercedes has always been involved in the arts from modeling, to stage plays, to music videos, as well as tv & film. She has been attending arts schools since elementary. However, A.W. Dreyfoos High School of the Arts is where she really learned to hone her craft.
Mercedes graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a degree in Telecommunications, a specialization in management, a concentration business, and a minor in theatre.
Currently, Mercedes is a successful entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and author of the children’s book, Look at All the Things My Hair Can Do.
Mercedes has created a non-profit organization that seeks to inspire and instills hope, self-love, and faith in young girls from underprivileged communities.
